E Ola Kope (long-live coffee) is a comedic take at the “sacred” ritual of the morning brew.

At Maoli, some of our designers grew up in the country. Getting to school in the morning meant waking up at 5:30AM to drive 45 minutes into town. To get there, parents would rely on coffee to provide the clarity and mental fortitude of getting kids out the door and to school on time. Now, on the other side of life, coffee has continued to be a big part of our designers schooling, business building, and all around socializing.

For all the parents, workers, college students, and entrepreneurs who see the value of coffee as the “sacred” drink, this mug is you.

He wai inu. (It is the water of drinking.)

He wai mana. (It is the water of spiritual energy.)

He wai ola. (It is the water of life.)

He wai kope. (It is the water of coffee.)

The term mānaleo means "native speaker". Get a good laugh by showing this mug off to any friends, family members or colleagues that know the Hawaiian language and are avid coffee fans.

We've partnered with some stellar organizations who are taking garment printing into the 21st century with DTG (direct-to-garment) printing technology. This means, everything at Maoli is made to order and we don’t have a warehouse full of clothes lying around. This reduces the clothing waste in our business to nearly zero.

Our eco-friendly water-based inks provide unlimited color combinations and make detailed prints pop without reducing their vibrancy in the wash. Reducing toxicity in the environment is one of our top priorities.

Whenever possible, we also use organic, recycled, or sustainable fabrics to manufacture our apparel. We aim to make our products good for your body and for the ʻāina (land).

We encourage our customers and our community to demand more from us when it comes to sustainability. Have an idea? Please don’t hesitate to reach out!
